Advantage then hath the Jew.

What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid yes, let God be true, but every man a liar, as it is written, that you mightiest be justified in thy sayings, and mightiest overcome when you are judged. But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who take vengeance? I speak as a man. God forbid for then how shall God judge his world? For if the truth of God has more abounded through my lie unto his glory, why yet am I also judged as a sinner? And not rather, as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say, let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just, what then?  are we better than they? No, in no wise for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin. There is none that understand there is none that seek after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable, there is none that do good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulcher, with their to tongues they have used deceit, the poison of asps is under their lips. Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their ways. The way of peace have they not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things so ever the law said, it said to them who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore, by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all of them that believe, for there is no difference. For all have sinned and came short of the glory of God. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Who God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believe in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay, but by the law of faith. Therefore, we conclude that a man justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not the God of the Gentiles? yes, of the Gentiles also. Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith and uncircumcision through faith. Do we than make void the law through faith? God forbid, yea. we establish the law. Amen!

God's righteous judgment. Roman Chapter

Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man, whosesoever you are that judge for wherein you judge another, you condemn thy self, for you that judges do the same thing. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinks you this, O man, that judges them which do such things, and does the same, that you shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despises you the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God. Who will render to every man according to his deeds. To him who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality eternal life. But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness indignation and wrath. Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that do evil, to the Jew first, and also the Gentile. But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also for the Gentile. For there is no respect of persons with God.

The law and judgment. For as many as have sinned without law and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles which the law have not, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves. Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts. their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another. In the day when God shall judge, the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Behold, you are called a Jew, and rests in the law, and make thy boast of God. And know his will, and approves the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law. And are confident that you thyself are a guide f the blind, a light of them which are in darkness. An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which has the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. You therefore which teaches another, teaches you not thyself? You that preaches a man should not steal; do you steal? You that sayest a man should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You that abhorrent idol, do you commit sacrilege? You that make thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonors your God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. For circumcision verily profited, if you keep the law, but if you be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore, if the uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? And shall not uncircumcision, which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision do transgress the law? For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly, neither is that circumcisions, which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew which is one inwardly. and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God. Amen!

Paul Apostle/Romans charter 1

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures, concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By who we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among who are you also the called of Jesus Christ: First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. For God is my witness, who I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers. Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established. That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.  Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, but was let hitherto, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians, both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel of you that are at Rome also.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believe, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith as it is written, the just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but because vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise they became fools and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature, more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections for even their women did change the natural use int that which is against nature. And likewise, also the men's leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Being filled with all unrighteousness' fornication, wickedness', covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

To be saved.

John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man come unto the, but by me. Act 4:12, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men by we must be saved. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The parable of the tenants.

Jesus began to speak to them in parables. A man planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a pit for the winepress and built a tower and leased it to tenants and went into another country. When the season came, he sent a servant to the tenants to get from them some of the fruit of the vineyard. And they took him and bear him and sent him away empty handed. Again, he sent to them another servant, and they struck him on the head and treated him shamefully. And he sent another, and him they killed. And so, with many others, some they beat, and some they killed. He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally, he sent him to them, saying, they will respect my son. But those tenants said to one another, this is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. And they took him and killed him and threw him out of the vineyard. What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others. Have you not read this scripture: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? And they were seeking to arrest him but feared the people, for they perceived that he had told the parable against them. So, they left him and went away.

They sent to him some of the Pharisees and some of the Herodians, to trap him in his talk. And they came and said to him, teacher we know that you are true and do not care about anyone's opinion. For you are not sways by appearances, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Should we pay them, or should we not? But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, why put me to the test? Bring me a denarius and let me look at it. And they brought one. And he said to them, whose likeness and inscription is this? They said to him, Caesar's. Jesus said to them, render to Caesar's the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marveled at him.

The Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection. And they asked him a question, saying, teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. There were seven brothers, the first took a wife will she be? For the seven had her as wife. Jesus said to them, is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God? For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not God of the dead, but of the living. You are quite wrong? And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, which commandment is the most important of all? Jesus answered, the most important is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this; you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said to him, you are right, teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, you are not far from the kingdom of God. And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions.

As Jesus taught in the temple, he said, how can the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David? David himself calls him Lord. So how is he, his son? And the great throng heard him gladly. And in his teaching, he said, beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes and like greetings in the marketplaces and have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts, who devour widows house and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation. And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, truly, I say to you this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on. Amen!
